| i wouldn't trust what anyone said on here when it comes to health and medications, especially when it comes to blood pressure and heart medications. i would ask a doctor that and trust what he/she has to say and not any tom dick or harry on here |

| It can be very dangerous to take both together. The point of blood pressure medication is to lower your blood pressure, and viagra works on the same mechanisms, only they function differently. Taking them together is like taking more of your medication than is prescribed.
It's not going to kill you, but it can cause sudden drops in blood pressure that can make you faint. |

| The commercial says may cause an unsafe drop in blood pressure wich could result in heart failure and death. |

| Actually viagra began life AS a blood pressure tablet. When the side effects became known ... can you imagine before it WAS known, officially - Holy Geez, doc you gotta give me some more of that blood pressure med ...
Anyway, the danger is you can drop your BP too low - ask your doc first - if your BP goes too low you faint. BUT - if it goes really too low, you can get into trouble, so best not to play with it until ask doc. |
