| I was talking to my girlfriend last night for around 7 or 8 hours, and I had an erection the entire time. Is this bad? I heard that you shouldn't have over a 4 hour erection. Is something going to happen to my penis now that I had an erection for 8 hours?

| In this case there was something/someone "turning you on", so it's nothing to worry about. Had there been an erection for that long with nothing to turn you on; that would have been a case to worry about, though. |

| Nope. Probably would have been less uncomfortable if you had just masturbated while you were on the phone, though. The 4 hour business has to do with taking Viagra, I guess, not a normal, spontaneous erection. If you feel OK, you don't have anything to worry about. |

| After taking drugs like Viagra you shouldn't have an erection for more than 4 hours. In your case, circulation was normal and this wouldn't be a problem. |
