Can I reduce my stretch marks? |
|---|---|
| I am a very tall, thin, 19 year old male. Over the last few years I've been getting a lot of stretch marks. Several on my thighs, and many large marks around my inner thigh/groin area. And the newest and oddest ons is a 4 in mark on the front of my shoulder. I'm 6'4 and 170 or so pounds, so I don't really understand why I keep getting all these marks. I assumed they would go away in time, but I haven't seen any improvement, and new ones showing up. Are there any steps I can take to help them heal? It may be important to note that I have very poor dietary habits, is there some vitamin that I am not getting enough of in my diet that would improve the strength of my skin?

| Palmer's Cocoa butter for ladies after their pregnancy is supposed to work. I don't know, never had a stretch mark that didn't go away.
Keep yourself hydrated and get a modest amount of sun exposure - while wearing sun protection. Always with SPF. |

| I developed stretch marks on my upper thighs during puberty. Yet, I've always been thin. People say that some guys get stretch marks on their thighs during growth.
There are a lot of guys who don't have any stretch marks (or any visible ones). So, stretch marks might be caused by a vitamin deficiency or by genetic factors. Or it could be a combination of both. You might want to try taking a multivitamin every day. Also, use lotion on your skin to keep it hydrated. |

| many people get them from growth spurts. your just growing fast. keep your skin covered in lotion and vitamin E oil is good, too.
Poor diet can make your skin dry (among other health issues) try to eat a healthy diet and take vitamins and drink lots of water. dont worry too much about the stretch marks, many many people have them, they do fade in time, stay healthy and keep your skin covered in the lotion good luck |
