Question on shaving pubic hair? |
|---|---|
| I am a 16 year old male and I shaved my pubic region last night with shaving cream and a razor, and now it is itchy and I have alot of little red bumps down there, will these bumps go away and how long do you think my pubic hair will be in 1 week, will there even be a difference?
answers to both of these questions gets the 10 points. |

| the bumps will probably go away in a few days. make sure your really wet and I would use shave gel for sensitive skin. run on hair conditioner when your done to help prevent the bumps. shave every other day and make sure the razor is sharp and wet.
in a wk the hair will probably be not very long but it will grow back in that amount of time.probably just enough to cover the area with a "blanket" of hair, very short but it will be there! |

| this is common. the bumps are there because you have never done it before. it will be a while before they go away. your pubes will not grow very fast. |

| this area is very sensitive... the red bumps are a rash from the irritation and they will go away. Ice packs can over a towel and your underwear to cool the area can help with the itching. and baby powder when you are in your regular clothes. In a week you will still only have long stubble. It will take about a month to return. If this is something you decide to do again there is a product called coochy cream you should use for shaving sensitive areas. If you don't wear boxers you might go buy a few cotton ones. These will be cooler and heat, sweating will make it itch more |

| Next time do a little pre-shaving ritual. The bumps are what one would call Razor Bumps. Very prominent on black people. The next time make sure you stay with the grain and don't try to shave so close. The bumps will go away. Depending on your body chemistry the hair may take a while to come back or it may come back faster than you want.
pre-shaving ritual - glycerin the night before along with some jojoba oil and lavender after shave ritual - jojoba oil mixed with lavender; Lavender if you can tolerate neat (with no carrier oil). |

| The red bumps will go away in a week or so. Apply moisturising lotion or a mild antiseptic cream. In one week, your pubic hair won't have grown very much - just stubble really. Do I get the 10 points?!! |

| The bumps are just razor bumps, and they're caused by not shaving close enough. They'll go away within a few days. To avoid them, next time use scissors next time. The itching is expected, just use some lotion and it helps. There will be a huge difference with hair growth within a week, since pubic hairs typically grow fast. You should see growth occurring within a day or so. Good luck, if you have any more questions, email me. |

| a guy should never shave off his pubic area for any reason unless he is gay. The new hair will be rough and hurt like nails even when they grow. The more you shave, the more problems you create. |

| When you shave do it towards the end of your shower or bath, while your skin is loose. I just use bath soap. Pull the skin of your scrotum taut. After, put on some hand cream. Shave every 2 - 3 days. I've been doing it since I had my vasectomy in 1977 and have never had a 'bump' or itch problem. |

| the bumps will go away in about a 1week or 2.it wou't be that long. no there will not be a difference. don't listen to those other people they will mess you up. don't shave it no more. leave it alone. the more you shave it the more you will have. |

| I'd reckon the bumps will go away very quickly, a few days max. Your pubic hair will probably be like a few days of stubble on your chin by one week, though it's all dependent on the person and how fast your hair grows. I shaved once, will never do it again. I trim now, just taking it down to a normal length |
