peeing problem? |

| hi ,im 13 year old male
I sometimes pee or urinate side ways and up like a what fontain .... is this normal or what is it?? also some times it hurts when i pee... this didnt start happening till like 7 months ago........could this be caused by masterbating?? could this be Hypospadias. please help me!!!! |

| If you are not circumcised that could be your problem. If you are, you need to be evaluated by a doctor.

| Hypospadias is a birth defect, so if you just started this a few months ago, I doubt that's it.
If it only happens rarely, yes, it could be caused by masturbation, but rather, what dries in the urethra after masturbation (the semen). There are many possibilities. If you're uncircumcised I wouldn't think it's your foreskin, since you say this only started a few months ago (and a foreskin doesn't cause peeing to hurt). Another possibility is meatal stenosis or meatitis; the inflamation of the opening of the penis. However, that only happens in circumcised guys (about 10%), and as a result of having the meatus always rubbing against everything. However, this usually forms in childhood (under 10).
