| You need to get over the anti doctor additude and go see one. Call a primary care doctor and have a physical. Tell them you are have chest pain. They will get you an appointment that day usually if you tell them you are having chest pain. Don't minimize your complaint if you want to be seen ASAP.
I actually have a question posted now that may be what is happening to you. Especially if you are tall and thin. I woke up March 20th with chest pain. It is worse when I take a deep breath. I have a spontaneous pneumothorax or collapsed lung and congenital blebs on my lung. It is unusual but it could be life threatening. You shouldn't mess around with chest pain. Good luck and take care of yourself. |

| Well the most important aspect of ur question ........ is it's relativity to breathing ...... only 3 types of chest pain is associated with breathing .......
1. Muscular - Chest muscles sprained ... they would feel dull diffuse and u tend to point to the area of pain with ur palm rather than ur tip of finger 2. Pleural - This is the skin like covering of the lung ... if this gets inflamed(pleuritis) or gets filled with fluid (pleural effusion) u can feel a sharp pain ...it can be any part of ur chest .... and u tend to point the area of pain with the tip of finger ... the pain is maximum when u take a deep inspiration and u can't take a deeper one 3. Pneumonia - Any lung infection can cause infection of the pleura because of it's continuity and hence can cause pain as described above Other common causes of chest pain such as heart pain or gastritis does'nt cuz chest pain which is altered by respiration ... Cheerio |
