why do my arms...? |
|---|---|
| whenever i am doing a chest press...or i'm simply doing a push-up...after some time my arms begin to shake and tremble*...why? is it b/c i don't work them out enough? how do i get it to stop?
*it's not like a violent shake, it's like shivering/trembling. |

| Probably your arms are tired.
The muscles that you use in the exercises you mentioned, in addition to you Pectorals (chest muscles) are your triceps (in your arms). Try some exercises to strengthen your triceps (skull crushers, overhead cable pulls, cable pulldowns), and you should see your bench improve. |

| its because your weak, lol. seriously thats what it is just keep on working them out and maybe start at a lower weight when bench pressing. once you get stronger the shakes will stop. |

| It's just that you body is not used to the workout. It will take your body to work up the strength to continuously lift the weight. The reason why your arms are shaking is because they are trying not to give out on you. |

| This always happens when you strain muscles or hold them in one place for a long time, it has something to do with circulation...I remember being tought something like this in like 5th grade, I dont really remember |

| it's because whatever you're doing is too much- do less weight. It's because you're not strong enough for whatever you're doing. |

| It's a buildup of lactic acid in your muscles when you over work them.It can be quite painful.Same as getting a cramp in your side when running .Rest and it will go away or put warm towels on them. |

| Muscle fatigue. When you lift, you're actually breaking muscle fibers which then grow back bigger and stronger. After too much lifting, your muscles become very weak which will cause them to tremble with further exersion. The muscle fiber grows back quickly so you're not doing any damage by weakening the muscle with exercise. Although it's a good idea to allow a day between lifting to let the muscles recover completely. Resting them for a day will also allow them to grow bigger because it won't abort the healing of the fibers too soon. |
